There are few things you should be prepared for while sailing:

  • First the weather can change quickly, from hot and humid to a thunderstorm on the water, be prepared!!

Wear Boat Shoes!!!

  • White bottom tennis shoes are the best ! Leaving black scuff marks all over the deck will ensure that you will be keel hulled and scrubbing the decks before you leave !

  • Shoes should cover your feet, loose toes hitting shrouds and cleats on the deck hurt !!!

  • Bring a bag with a change of clothes in case you get wet, a bathing suit in case you want to go swimming. Soft bags, no hard luggage!! Maybe a raincoat or a poncho to walk the beach in the rain?

  • Some days on the water can be hot and humid, light colored loose fitting clothes can help, a hat with a brim, sunglasses to keep the glare off the water down.

  • Bring sun screen,  we have some on board, but if your picky, bring your own !!  The suns rays are reflected off the water, you'll get double the amount of sun !

If requested we can fully provision the boat with any special delicacies,  you can think of!
