We will hold a tentative reservation for 10 days pending the receipt of your deposit. Deposit required to book a charter is one/half the charter fee, and may be paid by personal check, Visa or MasterCard. Upon receipt of your deposit we will forward your Yacht Charter Agreement, resume form, orientation sheet, and directions.

 

Arrival

A Das Boot Sailing Charters staff member will assist with arranging ,transportation from any local airport to the marina of departure. Prior to sailing any final payments will be collected.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be requested to insure against losses or damages incurred during your charter. The amount is equal to the insurance deductible for the vessel. We will return your security deposit within 10 days of your charter less any charges for loss or damage. 

Das Boot Sailing Charters takes pride in the clean, well-maintained condition of ithe vessel. It is expected that the charterers will treat the yacht as his own and leave it in the same condition. Any damaged or lost items will be charged to the security deposit

 

Final Payments
The charter balance and security deposit must be paid by cash, certified check, cashier's check, money order or traveler's checks upon arrival for charter. Visa or MasterCard may be used for the charter balance.

Special Requests
Das Boot Sailing Charters will gladly assist you with arrangements for sailing instruction, itinerary planning, airport pick-up, special provisions, catering, or any other services you may want or require. This is your vacation, and we will strive to accommodate you!

Cancellations
We realize situations may force you to cancel your charter. If we receive written notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to your charter date, we will refund your deposit, less a $50 cancellation fee. Within thirty days and prior to seven days of sailing, your deposit is transferable but not refundable. Within seven days of sailing the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. If a charter is cancelled by Das Boot Sailing Charters anytime prior to sailing due to weather, mechanical failures or any other extenuating circumstances, your entire deposit will be refunded (or transferred if you wish). Refunds for charters cancelled in progress will be prorated (except as noted in the charter contract).
